Sunshine Coast Foodie, Martin Duncan first got the idea of Sconetime from a video that popped up on his Facebook feed on loneliness and disconnect with Georgina 96 years young regularly attending a morning tea.
Martin believes everyone has a connection to Scones, he has always used his scones to connect people, when he owned dessert cafes in Brisbane he would host monthly catch ups with Paddington & Rosalie traders to even now with Country Noosa meetings and Sconetime.
Traecy Hinner of Noosa Black Coffee & Sconetime Volunteers love connecting attendees and listening to the history and great stories of our old halls & treasures that attend
Look out for ABC reporter Jennifer Nichols & ABC Landline Sconetime segment on Sunday 9th May
